A Golden Thanksgiving

Rich gold, brown and moss, are very warm colors and perfect this season and for Thanksgiving especially, they just feel right.

This table was inspired by this table runner a picked up a few years ago, its elegance and details always sparks my imagination. Its rich color and texture is in a way modern but at the same time classic.

Here, I have a centerpiece that definitely capture the essence of Autumn with rich warm colors, the hydrangeas which I deem to be the perfect filler flower, just a few goes a long way, I also have some berries and feathers in there to set the tone.

I actually did not make these napkins, I came upon them in a clearance rack, unfortunately they only had six left but they are perfect with the gold monogram on the crisp white linen.

What makes a memorable table are the details—the small things make the biggest impact. The gold rims on the crystal glasses pair off with the Golden flatware and the gold monogram on the napkins. The gold definitely brings kind of luxury to the table

I chose these smaller flower arrangements because they are absolutely beautiful, they add subtle depth without overpowering the palette.
To have enough time to experiment and unleash your creativity, you might want to set your Thanksgiving table a couple days in advance. This you’ll only have to concentrate on the bird come Thanksgiving Day.

 Happy Thanksgiving!
